So you can see how this is done. A ring starts its life as a flat strip of silver the length required for the ring size .Its then stamped, engraved ,and sometimes gold is added like this example. Its then made round and joined, sized. Finally all detail is gone over again final engraving is made and the whole ring is then bought up to a polish .This process can take up to several hours depending on the design.
